PAPA JHONES!
Papa John's Gets Creative With New Pizzas

NEW YORK -- Papa John's said Monday that it is adding two specialty pizzas to its menu through October and will support the items with a national multi-media campaign.

The two pizzas, Barbeque Chicken & Bacon and Hawaiian Barbeque Chicken, are available now through Oct. 26. The campaign, via Zimmerman Partners Advertising, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., will break on Oct. 6 and run through Oct. 19 on TV and in print. POP and Internet will support. Spend was not revealed.

Spots include close-ups of the new pizzas and their ingredients and shots of John Schnatter, company founder and CEO. Tag remains: "Better ingredients. Better pizza." The Louisville, Ky.-based Papa John's has 2,800 restaurants in 49 states.

"We remain committed to consistently delivering a first-rate product to our customers," Schnatter said in a statement. "With our two new barbeque chicken pizzas, we not only deliver a superior product, made with the finest ingredients available, but also a flavorful, unique pizza experience."
